It's Sunday morning and I was up watching The Sons of Katie Elder starring John Wayne. It's truly amazing how fast a country can change. America has gone from the vast open spaces of untamed wild territory, where the only thing you were guaranteed was a lot of hard work and self reliance. To a socialist society busy trying to discover new ways of plundering each other while dragging everyone kicking and screaming towards government dependency. I am only 33 years old but it didn't seem to be nearly this bad when I was a kid coming up in the 1980's.
