tired of fathers who dont pay takin a passport wow thats nothing they dont pay cuz they dont have to so i think they should go to jail after at least three months of nothing unless they have major excuse In my own experience the father has not payed but three times in the last 2 – 3 yrs and nothing is being done to make sure he pays its only 100 dollars a month and i think he should b in jail for it .

It’s pretty sad what our world has come to. I am not a father but a mother of a wonderful little boy. I am also a business owner and am not receiving child support from my ex-husband who decided he did not want any part in the raising and paying of the child we made together. I support myself and our son and I have done what I could with a negative situation. It is good to know that the laws may help those mothers/fathers out there on their own trying to raise and support their families. Even though it would be nice to have a decent father for my son I’m not asking for much here even to just have his father visit him would be a bonus. (However I understand things are different with every situation). I’d like to ask the ones who are worried about paying their support to look at your children would you have them go without shoes, without proper clothing, without a decent bed in order to validate yourselves in the fight against your ex’s because big news that is what child support is for is to buy the things your children need and when it comes down to the expense it builds up.. And just like marriage child support is supposed to be a 50/50 thing at least in my state. I did come upon this article researching finances and investment options and it struck some feeling inside me.
I hope everyone works through their problems and learns it’s not about you it’s about our children.
