Google Adsense Revenue Jan 08 - June 08
I’ve decided to go ahead and post my google adsense figures for the first half of 2008. I started this blog in November of 2007. However, the first three to four months was really nothing more than trying to figure out how to use Wordpress and make this site SEO friendly. I’m proud to say all of that is behind me now. Whois.com rates my SEO score at 96%. Also, finding the ideal ad lay out is an ever changing battle. What started out as a place for me to share my ideas about debt settlement and collection agencies, has thankfully turned out to be a source of income to help pay off my debts.
Each month my profit from google adsense has increased by an average of $23.00 each month. At this rate I’ll make $1000.00 per month in three more years. Hopefully I’ll have a bit of luck in the google ranking system to boost this sites profitability even more.

According to google analytics I’ve had 7,333 unique visitors in the last 30 days clicking 15,500 page impressions. Of those uniques, google search engine has brought 5,993 of those incoming visitors. Naturally increasing my google ranking is also a never ending battle. The majority of my traffic pertains to six articles. These six articles are highly ranked and often show up number one when visitors perform google searches.
I’m not sure if feed readers are very important when it comes to revenue. After all the feed readers don’t actually come to the site and therefore don’t click the ads. Also, there are many people who turn off the ads using internet explorer and firefox options. I’m making the assumption here that my most profitable visitors are the ones who enter via search engines.
Over the last few months I focused hard on making this site as SEO friendly as possible and it paid off. I’ve gone from an average of 170 visitors per day during the week to currently over 300. Weekends, are of course, a little slower.
