		<description>My best friend wants me to co-sign on a student loan for him.  His parents recently cut him off on finances because he didn&#039;t keep his end of the payments up.  I know I cannot, and will not sign his loan but he just won&#039;t let it go.  It&#039;s almost like he thinks I owe it to him as his friend.  It is a good idea not to  co-sign for him isn&#039;t it?  I have my own finances to worry about and my own loans in my name to take care of for school.</description>
